Yet again Diamond Bank Plc has demonstrated its bid to become the leading customer-centric bank with the launch of its revamped domiciliary account –the Diamond Domiciliary Account.
In a recently issued press release, Senior Advisor, Retail Banking, Garry Marsh said the account was revised to keep in tune with current peculiarities if the market.
Said Garry, “Upon re-evaluating our previous domiciliary account offering –the Diamond World Account - we found gaps in the market that could be better serviced. Hence, we went back to our drawing boards to develop a domiciliary account that would cater to these under-served segments as well as give customers the peculiar benefits of banking with Diamond Bank.”
The new domiciliary account is available in three variants based on the particular market segment they cater to. These variants are: Individual, MSME (Micro Small and Medium Scale Enterprises) and Corporate. Other than individuals functioning in these segments, members of the diplomatic community would also find the new Diamond domiciliary Account indispensable.
”With the new Diamond Domiciliary Account, our esteemed customers are set to enjoy the unparalleled service-delivery we are known for in our branches spread all over Nigeria. They will also enjoy competing interest rates on their deposits even as they bank with us for free,” continues Garry.
In addition to having a domiciliary account catering to their specific needs, Diamond Domiciliary account holders also enjoy a number of unique benefits. These include a dedicated chequebook that can facilitate payments to third parties, free transfers to the account from abroad, free transfer from the account to another Diamond Bank account amongst others.
This comes to join a bouquet of equally exciting products the bank offers. These products include the Diamond Bonus Savings account that offers a mouthwatering 5% interest rate that is payable monthly, in addition to an extra 100% of the interest paid in three months when no withdrawal is made from the account. There’s also the Diamond Visa credit card which allows customers the rare privilege of making repayments on their card in naira even as they enjoy up to 45 days interest-free credit.
“Revising our domiciliary account to cater to current realities of the market is a further demonstration of Diamond Bank’s determination to exceed customer expectation in all the markets we operate. We felt a bit uneasy boxing all our customers’ various forex needs into one single account and we thus went ahead to remodel the Diamond World Account to address this. With the Diamond Domiciliary Account, customers are guaranteed of a unique account set to meet their diverse needs,” concludes the release.
